Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Purchasing Officer to join our team. The role involves managing procurement activities, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring the availability of high-quality materials and services to support our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and evaluate suppliers for high-quality ingredients, equipment, and services.
  • Build relationships with local and international vendors to ensure the best value and consistent supply.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions for restaurant supplies.
  • Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the kitchen team to forecast purchasing needs.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to secure cost-effective deals.
  • Ensure all goods purchased meet the restaurant’s quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information.
  • Stay updated on market trends, ingredient availability, and pricing fluctuations.
  • Resolve any supply chain disruptions or discrepancies promptly.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in purchasing or procurement within the F&B industry is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with sourcing food and beverage supplies, particularly for fine dining establishments.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory management systems.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Passion for the F&B industry and a keen eye for quality.
  • Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is an advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,200.00 per month
