Key Responsibilities : 1. Accounts Payable and Receivable : - Processing invoices and ensuring timely payment to vendors and supplies . - Recording receipts and payment , and reconciling bank statements . - Tracking outstanding payments and following up on overdue accounts . 2. Data Entry : - Entering financial transactions into accounting software or ledgers . - Ensuring accuracy in data entry related to financial records . 3. Bank Reconcilation : - Reconcile company bank accounts and credit card statements with financial records . - Investigating discrepancies between bank records and internal reports . 4. Payroll Support : - Assisting with payroll processing , ensuring proper calculation of wages and deductions . - Maintaining payroll records and ensuring timely distribution of payments . 5. Financial Reporting : - Assisting in the preparation of monthly , quaterly, or annual financial reports. - Generating and organizing reports such as trial balances , income statements , and balance sheets . 6. Maintaining Financial Records : - Filing and organizing financial documents , such as invoices , receipts , and other supporting documents . - Keeping accounting files up to date and ensuring compliance with financial regulations . 7. Other Administrative Tasks : - Providing general support to the accounting department , such as answering calls , or preparing correspondence .
