FIBER OPTICS TRANSCEIVER TECH. SPECIALIST

Responsibilities • Responsible and involved specifically in 2x200G and 2x400G, 800G, 1.6T and above 1.6T products to cater for 5G market and beyond in wireless transceivers for a high bandwidth, high speed product applications in telecommunications, data centre networking markets and as well as cloud computing. • Involved specifically in 2x200 and 2x400 Lens 1 and Lens 2 optical alignment process, candidates who have handled 1436 and 2021 are preferred. • Handle Front process in OSA/MOL specifically optical alignment of LW TOSA and ball press and housing assembly. • Supervise all Engineers, Technicians assigned to him/her and ensure all engineering activities are done. • Drive yield improvements and scrap reduction programs and ensure to meet scrap index quarterly target. • Drive cost reduction/lean projects. Ensure to meet KPI target. • Plan, supervise, execute and monitor all process engineering activities related to new product development/ new product transfers including coordinating well with corporate R&D. He/she will be involved and working with program manager, Product Engineering, IE and Automation, EHS, and QA to ensure all processes are ready. • Lead Engineers in DFM, FMEA and identifying potential issues/risk ahead, and ensuring these are fixed before build for Reliability Test and before MVT exit. Ensure the target dates are met and planned yield and HPU are met. • Ensure the process under him/her comply to EHS, Quality policies and ISO standards. Requirements • Bachelor’s in Mechanical / Mechatronic / Electrical & Electronics Engineering • Experience working in high mix and high-volume manufacturing environment in semiconductor assy processes will be an added advantage • Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing a team of engineers & technicians • Must exhibit a strong sense of analytical skills, good observer and hands on • Adaptable and flexible to rapid changes to the business needs of the company • Good knowledge of mechanical dimensioning & tolerancing analysis, poka-yoke principles will be an added advantage
