Job Summary: The IT Support is responsible for the administration, maintenance, and optimization of Microsoft 365 services within the organization. This role requires a deep understanding of Microsoft 365 technologies, including SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Exchange Online, and Power Platform. SharePoint Administration: • Design, create, and maintain SharePoint sites and templates. • Configure site permissions, workflows, and content types. • Migrate content from legacy systems to SharePoint. • Implement search and metadata management strategies. • Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments. • Configure and manage data loss prevention (DLP) policies. • Ensure compliance with industry regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA). Training and Support: • Develop and deliver training materials for Microsoft 365 applications. • Provide technical support to end-users. • Create and maintain user documentation. • Conduct regular training sessions and workshops. Microsoft Teams Administration: • Deploy and configure Microsoft Teams. • Manage team channels, memberships, and policies. • Troubleshoot Teams issues and provide user support. • Implement and manage Teams calling and meetings. OneDrive Administration: • Configure OneDrive sync settings and storage quotas. • Implement file sharing and collaboration policies. • Manage OneDrive retention policies and legal holds. Exchange Online Administration: • Manage email policies, retention policies, and archiving. • Configure email security and spam filters. • Troubleshoot email issues and provide user support. Power Platform Administration: • Manage Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI environments. • Configure data connectors, flows, and reports. • Implement governance and security policies for Power Platform. Security and Compliance: • Implement and enforce security policies and best practices. • Monitor and respond to security alerts and threats. • Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments. • Configure and manage data loss prevention (DLP) policies. • Ensure compliance with industry regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA). Training and Support: • Develop and deliver training materials for Microsoft 365 applications. • Provide technical support to end-users. • Create and maintain user documentation. • Conduct regular training sessions and workshops. Required Education: • Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 suite, including SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Exchange Online, and Power Platform. • Experience with Active Directory and Azure AD. • Knowledge of PowerShell scripting. • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.1 • IT certifications (e.g., Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Workplace Administrator) are preferred.
