Operations Support Engineer(Applications)

Responsibilities : Application Support: Ensure applications meet performance and availability targets as per service level agreements (SLAs). Diagnose and resolve application issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement solutions to reduce downtime. Collaborate with development teams to address complex technical problems. Provide prompt technical assistance to end-users for swift issue resolution. Document incidents, solutions, and best practices for knowledge sharing. Deployment Tasks: Plan, manage, and execute application deployments, updates, and patches. Create and maintain automation tools, deployment scripts, and configurations. Work with cross-functional teams (DevOps, QA, Development) for seamless deployment processes. Perform testing before and after deployments to ensure stability and functionality. Handle rollback procedures and troubleshoot failed deployments effectively. Operations Support: Monitor system logs, alerts, and performance metrics to detect and address potential problems proactively. Set up and maintain system monitoring tools to ensure continuous operations. Support disaster recovery planning, testing, and execution. Document operational procedures, deployment processes, and incident responses. Identify and implement process improvements and automation to boost operational efficiency. Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent. Knowledge in Java, Linux CentOS, MS SQL, Nginx / TomCat / Apache will be added advantages. 3 - 5 years of working experience in IT Operation & Support OR stock broking industry.
