Business Development Manager (BDM)

Business Development Manager (BDM) specializing in frozen and snack FMCG products:

1. Market Penetration and Expansion
Identify growth opportunities in the frozen and snack food categories by targeting new retail chains, distributors, and foodservice providers.
Develop and execute strategies to expand the market share of frozen and snack products in both urban and rural areas.
Conduct in-depth market research to identify consumer preferences and emerging trends in frozen and snack foods.

2. Distributor and Channel Management
Build and manage relationships with key distributors, wholesalers, and retail partners to optimize product availability.
Negotiate and onboard new distribution partners to improve reach in targeted regions.
Monitor distributor performance to ensure alignment with sales and revenue targets.

3. Category-Specific Product Promotion
Design and implement promotional campaigns tailored to frozen foods (e.g., ready-to-eat meals, desserts) and snack products (e.g., chips, cookies).
Collaborate with the marketing team to drive awareness and trial of new frozen and snack products through strategic branding.
Analyze the effectiveness of promotions and optimize campaigns for better ROI.

4. Sales and Profitability Management
Drive sales growth by achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets in the frozen and snack categories.
Work closely with the sales team to ensure the proper distribution of frozen and snack products across various channels.
Provide strategic recommendations for pricing, packaging, and placement to enhance category profitability.

5. Innovation and Consumer Insights
Gather consumer insights and feedback to identify gaps in the frozen and snack product offerings.
Collaborate with R&D to propose new products or improve existing ones to meet changing consumer needs.
Monitor competitor activities in the frozen and snack food market and develop strategies to maintain a competitive edge.

Salary- RM3500-5000 + allowance + commission
