Qualifications & Experience

1) Degree Holder or Professional in Banking, Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance or any related field

2) Minimum of 3 years experience in Project or Programme Management preferably in a financial institution

3) Possesses sound knowledge of banking products & services

4) Have strong business acumen and IT related know-how and experience.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Sound analytical and problem-solving skills including attention to details
  • Good management and leadership skills

3) Familiar with BNM Guidelines and general Business / Corporate Banking policies and procedures

4) Possesses good written, verbal communication and presentation skills including in English

5) Good interpersonal skills to effectively work with other business units and various stakeholders.

6) Competencies in UAT test management, Agile methodologies, SQL, JavaScript and Elixir would be an advantage.

  • Support overall Project Manager/ Project Advisor / Project Sponsor in terms of project cost management and to actively participate in setting project plan /schedule and to provide regular updates on the progress and to highlight issues and possible solutions, if any.
  • Work closely with project support team members to plan, organize, implement, monitor and to effectively control project resources and project activities.
  • Ensure up to date & sufficient documentation is maintained for reporting & tracking purposes
  • Propose & to advise on project management best practices that are in line with AFFIN BANK’s standards
  • Guide project team to be in compliance with standard project management framework
  • Facilitate proper management of project documentation repository, integrated delivery plan, reporting accuracy and completeness and timely update of key milestones to relevant stakeholders, as required.
  • Consolidate and monitor project financials and to champion “lessons to learn, think and apply” sessions to improve delivery of these projects/programs.
  • Make suitable recommendations for improvement of the functionalities / services / processes
  • Work closely with business users from various Business Units as well as other relevant stakeholders, both internally and externally.
  • Take necessary action to address any deviations from project schedules, plans or resources in order to resolve issues and to escalate risks and recommended solutions to Project Advisors / Project Sponsors / Project Management Leadership / Project Steering Committee, as applicable
  • Act as the focal point of contact for business & IT project reporting purposes.

Pay: RM4,712.86 - RM19,000.00 per month
