Software Business Analyst

Job description Key Accountabilities • Create software flow designs for technical solutions to resolve business problems and test components of new systems for efficiency. • Reach out to clients and project leaders to identify and evaluate user and business requirements. • Ensure clean and accurate technical documentation (requires knowledge in PHP & MySQL), including business requirements, client requirements, and technical requirements & specifications. • Write findings in the form of reports and ensure that all documents are safely kept for future reference. • Oversee the implementation of new systems, including data migration for Vietnam clients and actively engaging with them. • Assist with new releases, and approve all User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for all Vietnam clients. • Facilitate professional and constant communication with users on the status of production problems that might arise and inform them about ways to resolve issues. • Carry out research on how IT systems are used in the accounts receivable industry and suggest ways for system improvement and efficiency. • Collaborate with the software development team to build the design and specification of the permanent fixes. • Communicate the cost (if any) and timeline with the customer and ensure timely delivery. • Test the product to ensure the product meets user requirements and technical standards, and doesn’t impact existing modules before roll-out. • Upsell and build value for customers by proposing new features or services. Requirements • Bachelor's Degree or Professional Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering. • Proficiency in English and Vietnamese language will be an added advantage as this role will manage communication directly with existing & prospective clients in Vietnam. • Knowledge in software technology used in Vietnam’s software development & BFSI industry. • Experience working preferably in the accounts receivable industry in Vietnam. • Skilled with PHP knowledge and software testing skills. • Strong database skills in MySQL. • Proficiency in software and technical requirement documentation. • Ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and find solutions independently in a timely manner. • Great knowledge of IT processes and a willingness to constantly update knowledge. • Ability to multitask and work on multiple issues simultaneously. • Able to carry out tasks with little or no supervision.
