Key Responsibilities: 1. Chemical Analysis & Testing a. Perform chemical testing on scheduled waste samples. b. Maintain accurate records and ensure lab equipment is calibrated and functional. 2. Research & Development (R&D) a. Conduct R&D to improve waste treatment processes and explore resource recovery solutions. b. Propose and implement innovative technologies and process improvements. 3. Process Optimization a. Collaborate with operations to enhance waste treatment efficiency and reduce costs. b. Provide technical advice on waste handling, storage, and disposal. 4. Regulatory Compliance a. Ensure adherence to environmental regulations and prepare required documentation. b. Support audits and inspections by regulatory authorities. 5. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) a. Enforce safety protocols in chemical handling and waste management. b. Conduct risk assessments and recommend mitigation measures. 6. Training & Support a. Train staff on chemical processes and safety standards. b. Provide troubleshooting support for operational issues. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or related field. A Master’s degree is a plus. • 3–5 years of experience in chemical analysis, R&D, or waste management.
