We are looking for a backend engineer who is proficient with Magento+Nodejs. Experience in developing web applications using Magento+Nodejs. The candidate should have a strong understanding of web development principles / mobile applications and should be able to create responsive web pages. You will ensure that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain. You will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is important. Key Responsibilities Architect and implement robust, scalable backend systems for e-commerce platforms using Magento and Node.js. Integrate APIs, payment gateways, and third-party tools to enhance platform functionality and user experience. Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring fast response times and high availability of applications. Design and maintain efficient database structures, optimize queries, and ensure data integrity and security. Work closely with frontend developers, designers, and project managers to deliver cohesive solutions that meet business requirements. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code while adhering to coding standards and best practices. Identify and resolve technical issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks promptly. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing. Keep abreast of the latest advancements in Magento, Node.js, and backend technologies to recommend and implement innovative solutions. Prerequisites A minimum of Diploma/ Degree in Computer Science, or any other IT related field. Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience developing and maintaining scalable Magento applications, including custom module development, performance optimization, and troubleshooting. Proven experience in building backend services and APIs using Node.js, with a strong understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture. Solid understanding of e-commerce platforms, payment gateways, and integration of third-party services within Magento. Expertise in relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and experience with database optimization for high-performance systems. Experience in designing, implementing, and consuming RESTful and GraphQL APIs, particularly for Magento and Node.js applications. Proficiency with Git and experience implementing CI/CD pipelines for smooth deployment processes. Strong ability to identify bottlenecks in Magento or Node.js applications and implement solutions to enhance performance and scalability. Excellent debugging, analytical, and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to work under minimal supervision on complex backend systems. Strong team collaboration skills, including experience working in agile environments and effectively communicating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
