POSITION SUMMARY
Are you eager to gain hands-on experience in market research? As a Research Analyst Intern, you will play a key supporting role in various research projects, assisting with project setup, management, data checking, coding, and reporting. You will work closely with experienced research teams to ensure data quality and help deliver actionable insights to clients. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to develop your skills in research, analysis, and project management in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist research teams in the setup and execution of research projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and project objectives.
- Support the process of data cleaning, ensuring accuracy and consistency in survey responses.
- Code open-ended survey responses in alignment with project requirements.
- Assist in preparing charts, tables, and data visualizations to support the analysis and presentation of research findings.
- Work closely with research, data processing, fieldwork, and quality control teams to ensure seamless project execution and data accuracy.
- Collect and organize data from a wide range of secondary sources (both online and offline), including market reports, industry publications, and databases.
- Compile relevant market intelligence and background research to support the project’s overall objectives.
REQUIREMENT, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Candidate who currently pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Psychology, Sociology, Statistics, Mathematics, Marketing or a related discipline.
- Interest in market research, data analysis, or consulting, with a passion for understanding consumer behaviour and market trends.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data checking and coding.
- Ability to manage time effectively, handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret and process large datasets.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint, for data analysis and reporting.
- Basic knowledge of research tools and methodologies is a plus (e.g., SPSS, R, or Python), but not required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM1,000.00 per month
