As the Fun and Activity Manager specializing in Team Building, Sports, and Recreation at Rainforest Hotel at Resorts World Awana, you will play a key role in enhancing guest satisfaction and revenue generation. Your focus will be on designing and implementing team-building programs, sports events, and recreational activities that contribute to the overall success of the hotel.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Team Building Programs:
    • Develop and implement creative team-building activities and workshops tailored to corporate groups, families, and other guest segments.
    • Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing team to promote team-building packages and experiences.
  2. Sports and Recreation Management:
    • Curate a diverse range of sports and recreational activities, such as hiking, guided nature walks, and adventure sports.
    • Establish partnerships with local sports equipment providers and adventure tour operators to enhance offerings.
  3. Revenue Generation:
    • Actively contribute to revenue growth by identifying and capitalizing on opportunities to upsell team-building packages and recreational activities.
    • Implement pricing strategies and promotional activities to drive sales and increase revenue.
  4. Guest Engagement and Satisfaction:
    • Interact with guests to understand their preferences for team-building and recreational activities.
    • Monitor guest feedback and adjust offerings to ensure a high level of satisfaction.
  5. Collaboration and Coordination:
    • Work closely with the Events and Banquets team to integrate team-building activities seamlessly into conference and event packages.
    • Collaborate with the Sales team to create compelling sales pitches and presentations for corporate clients.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Sports Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing team-building programs and sports/recreation activities within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills with a track record of revenue generation.
  • Creative thinking and the ability to develop innovative, engaging activities.
