Executive, Inventory & Logistic Management
Reports To
Senior Executive, Inventory & Logistic Management
Role Purpose
Develop implementation plan for inventory and logistics management plans for in-flight equipment requirements for KUL Caterer and Line Stations and ensures optimum inventory level and stock replenishment. Identify and mitigate potential risks with inventory and logistics operations and ensure the quality and reliability of in-flight equipment.
Key Accountability
- Support Senior Exec with contract renewals & SLA Management process.
- Support Inventory Planning team to ensure enough inflight equipment on all flights to meet the company standards.
- Initiate stock replenishment and control the distribution of in-flight inventory to ensure stock availability at KUL & all stations and completion of supply chain.
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery Optimum stock holding at stations - Station engagement /monitor station requirement - min and max level.
- Monitor slow moving items at stations and arrange for transfer of equipment.
- Monitor excess and aging equipment at stations.
- Plan and conduct quarterly stock take and rectify variances, if any.
- Compile and review replenishment and loss rate submitted by Caterers (local and overseas) and adjust forecast to obtain accurate consumption rates for in-flight inventory.
- Analyse and rectify issues highlighted at weekly meetings with home-based caterers related to inventory level and recommend mitigation plans to minimize disruptions to operations.
- Control in-flight operating expenditures by implementing process improvement initiatives/ projects to achieve structural cost reduction.
- Execute optimal ordering and develop short to mid-term ordering plan.
Qualifications & Working Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field with 2 years in airline operations or others operation experience preferred.
- For those have Diploma but proven experience in warehouse, supply chain, inventory management, and cost-saving with at least 05 years' experience in airline operations or others operation experience preferred.

- Positive work attitude, team player, able to meet tight deadlines and be prepared to take on additional responsibilities, and can-do spirit attitude.
