Procurement Manager (Manufacturing)

Job Title: Procurement Manager
Location: Sungai Buloh
Industry: Glass manufacturer
Salary Range: RM10000-RM13000

Job Purpose:The main job is to make sure that all procurement activities run smoothly in the region. This includes following the right processes, meeting performance goals, and making sure the team is working well. You will also manage suppliers, improve cost and service, and ensure the team follows policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the central team and finance department.
• Lead the procurement team to meet targets and follow processes.
• Ensure suppliers are evaluated and risks are managed.
• Help improve procurement systems like SAP and Ariba.
• Develop strategies to reduce costs and improve service for key materials.
• Report procurement KPIs and progress regularly.
• Organize training to improve team skills.
• Monitor supplier payments and look for ways to improve cash flow.
• Lead efforts to reduce costs and improve supplier quality.
• Ensure compliance with all local regulations and policies.

Required Skills and Knowledge:

• Knowledge of SAP and Ariba systems.
• Experience in project scheduling, procurement, and Incoterms.
• Familiar with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, and core quality tools.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
• Certified Internal Auditor IATF 16949 is a plus.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and solve problems.
• Ability to lead and develop a team.

Education and Experience:

• A degree in any field.
• At least 5 years of experience in procurement

Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM13,000.00 per month
