Instructional Designer for Preschool

1. Curriculum Design and Development - Create engaging, age-appropriate curriculum materials for kindergarten and academic programs. - Develop lesson plans that align with Malaysia's National Preschool Standard Curriculum (KSPK) or academic syllabi like the Malaysian Education Blueprint. - Incorporate play-based learning strategies for kindergarten learners. - Design content for academic subjects like mathematics, science, language arts, and more. 2. Educational Material Creation - Develop print and digital teaching resources such as: o Activity sheets o Flashcards o Storybooks o Interactive multimedia content - Design assessments and evaluation tools (e.g., quizzes, observation checklists). 3. Integration of Technology in Learning - Create e-learning modules using tools like Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, or Canva. - Design interactive lessons for smartboards, tablets, and other classroom technology. - Develop gamified learning activities for younger children to maintain engagement. 4. Training and Support for Educators - Train teachers on the effective use of new curriculum materials and technology. - Offer guidance on classroom implementation of designed instructional tools. - Gather feedback from educators and revise materials accordingly. 5.Research and Best Practices - Conduct research on child development and pedagogical trends. - Align instructional design practices with early childhood education principles like Montessori or Reggio Emilia. - Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of learning materials through observation and data collection.
