Position Overview:
Gain hands-on experience in planning, coordinating, and executing conferences and events. You will work closely with our experienced conference and event management team, contributing to all aspects of conference and event preparation, including conference production, speakers acquisition, logistics, vendor coordination, registration, and on-site support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in organizing, producing and coordinating events and conferences from start to finish.
  • Support the team in managing event logistics, including venue selection, sponsor acquisition, vendor management, and attendee registration.
  • Assist in developing event schedules, timelines, and budgets.
  • Help with event marketing and promotion through social media, email campaigns, and other communication channels.
  • Communicate with vendors, sponsors, and attendees to ensure smooth event execution.
  • Provide on-site support during events, including registration, attendee management, and troubleshooting.
  • Assist with post-event follow-up, including feedback collection and event reports.
  • Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a degree program in Event Management, Hospitality, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in the events and conference industry.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Previous event coordination or internship experience is a plus but not required.
