Position Summary: A kindergarten teacher plays a crucial role in a child’s early development, fostering an environment of curiosity, creativity, and foundational learning. To guide young learners in their intellectual, social, and emotional growth through interactive lessons, play-based activities, and structured routines. Key Responsibilities: 1. Curriculum Implementation: - Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons in areas such as literacy, numeracy, science, and arts. - Integrate play, storytelling, and hands-on activities into daily teaching. - Align lesson plans with educational standards and developmental benchmarks. 2. Student Engagement: - Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment. - Encourage curiosity and creativity through exploration and questioning. - Monitor individual student progress and tailor activities to meet diverse learning needs. 3. Social and Emotional Development: - Promote interpersonal skills, teamwork, and respect among students. - Support children in managing emotions and resolving conflicts. - Reinforce positive behavior through encouragement and recognition. 4. Classroom Management: - Maintain a clean, safe, and organized learning environment. - Supervise students during indoor and outdoor activities. - Uphold safety and health protocols. 5. Qualifications and Skills: - Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field. - Teaching certification - Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. - Patience, creativity, and a nurturing attitude. - Organizational and time-management skills. - Familiarity with early childhood education best practices and learning tools.
