DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Evaluate the workplace environment and develop safety-management policies that identify and define the safety responsibilities of all employees. • Continually maintain an appropriate level of awareness, knowledge and preparedness across the organization. • Ensure that workplace tools and equipment meet industry standards and installed properly, as defined by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. • Provide Company facilities with accurate and consistent specialized expertise related to Safety Management and ensure that safe work practices and the relevant procedures are established, maintained and executed in operational and non-operational areas. • Provide documents and advice on matters relating to safety, health and environment to ensure HSE compliance in accordance with legislative requirements, client’s and company policy. • Supervise the Planning, compliance and co-ordination of the day-to-day activities and ensure the effectiveness of the related duties such as inspections, spot checks and spot auditing, in all areas. • Oversee the safety and loss prevention information and support for employees and clients to ensure the safe conduct of work, review/address all kinds of workplace/operational safety matters and contribute to improve the safety performance at the Operational areas. • Attending meeting with client to present our service performance monthly and annually auditing with client to ensure the documentation from our company is completed. • Ensure the implementation and monitoring the site-specific health, safety and environmental operations and tasks at the assigned job site. • Observe HSE regulations, wears all required safety equipment, encourages safe working practices, corrects obvious hazards immediately or reports them to the proper personnel. • Ability to evaluate PPE and ensure proper use and maintenance of PPE • Inspecting production equipment and processes to make sure they are safe • Creating safety plans that include suggested improvements to existing infrastructure and business processes • Liaising with law enforcement and other investigators who are present at the time of a serious accident REQUIREMENT • Candidate must possess at least Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health/ Science/Engineering or equivalent with additional professional qualifications in HSE Management Systems. • Min 1 year of working experience in Health, Safety, Security, Environmental Management role and Catering Services in offshoring business. • English proficiency with excellent written and oral communication skills. • Excellent knowledge and understanding of safe work practices • Strong communication skills, able to work well with others in a fast-faced working environment • Willing to travel up to 50% of the time. • Meticulous, independent, pro-active with positive attitude and willing to learn • Able to work more than normal working hours or on rest day if required • Experience developing HSE policies and audit programme for assembly, production and corporate environment. • Valid HSE certificate with at least 3 years of leadership role in HSE initiatives and audit.
