Job Description:
The Sourcing Manager will align with bp’s Code of Conduct, as well as all HSSE requirements, including continual support of HSSE objectives within the business, and taking a professional and disciplined approach to working with suppliers, to ensure visibility, consistency and fairness. Our procurement and supply chain management principles are always applied within that framework and in the context of relevant laws and regulation.

The Sourcing Manager will support/handle high-risk activities as per business request, inclusive but not limited to the following activities:
I. Planning: support the vision and objectives of BP's Finance Procurement and ensure the activities are aligned with the Business.
II. Category Strategy: Align with the Business Facing and Supply Facing needs, ensuring security of supply, risk management, cost competitiveness, enhanced value, and the optimization of supply base. Support /Create and manage Category Strategies. Support development of MSAs, GAs and other model contracts
III. End-to-End Sourcing projects as per business request, inclusive of the following activities:
Case Management: Receive, implement and continuously manage incoming Sourcing project requests via the Case Management tool.
Sourcing Strategy: Develop Sourcing Strategies based on request, market conditions, scopes of work and manage the approval process. Collaborate with the Sourcing Team to develop the ATM (approach to market) based on the approved Sourcing Strategy.
Deliver value to internal team members: Partnering to lead all Sourcing & Contracting activities in compliance with Category Management Common Process (CMcp, working closely with Supply and Business Facing teams.
Supplier Prequalification, screening suppliers and monitoring/handling continuous supplier prequalification status.
Event Management: Validate requests, scopes of work and liaise with partners on business requirements. Support/lead the supplier selection process and handle supplier relationship. Build and handle sourcing projects & events (RFI/RFP) in the Ariba OneSource and Ariba Spend Management system.
Develop and obtain approvals for award recommendation documentation.
Contracting
Validate requests, scopes of work, figure out appropriate contract template and develop the contract content.
Negotiate relevant contract terms with suppliers, within the defined parameters of legal and category guidance.
Handle the contract execution/signature process per the applicable DofA (Delegation of Authority) and Power of Attorney) requirements for each BP entity.
IV. Supplier Management
Support / Establish and implement the supplier management plan. Ensure effective supplier performance management.
Segments the supply base for a category. Use of a variety of performance management processes, tools and methods to achieve agreed SLAs.
V. Post Award Contract Management
Ensure Contract is fit for purpose, valid and updated in the Company’s systems at all times. This will include the extension, amendment and close-out of Contracts based on request from Business in accordance with Category Management Plan.
Manage invoice dispute resolution.
Job Requirements
The ideal candidate has minimum ten (10) to twelve (12) years of practical and application in End to End sourcing and contracting of services and commodities, coupled with a strong commercial competence and communication (oral and written English language) skills.
Proven knowledge and relevant minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in any of these Oil and Gas categories such as Rigs, Drilling and Wells Services (OCTG, Cementing, Mud Logging, Fluids, Wireline Equip & Serv, Stimulation, Intervention) and EPCI (Offshore Construction, Fabrication, Engineering Services, EPC, EPCI)
Experience in managing Drilling / Wells Services / Rigs Category Strategy will be an added advantage
Strong partner management skills managing Global Collaborators
Experience working in a large and multi-cultural team
Strong influencing and negotiation skills, as well as proven leadership behaviors
Experience of working in NOC and/or JV environment is an advantage
Fluent in English (oral and written) language. Additional European/Asian languages are advantageous
Ability to work on shift hours
