TECHNICAL ADVISOR - M&E

• Provide expert technical advice on all M&E systems, including mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems. • Review and approve M&E design documents, including drawings, specifications, and calculations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and contractors to develop and implement M&E systems that meet project requirements and client needs. • Offer technical guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle, from design and planning to construction and commissioning. • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to M&E systems on-site and during project execution. • Evaluate the performance of M&E systems and recommend improvements or modifications as necessary. • Ensure that all M&E installations are completed within budget and on schedule while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor the progress and quality of M&E work, ensuring compliance with design specifications. • Review project documentation, including submittals, RFIs (Requests for Information), and change orders, to ensure technical accuracy and completeness. • Ensure that all M&E systems meet local codes, regulations, and standards, and oversee necessary certifications and inspections. • Provide technical training and mentorship to junior engineers and site staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. • Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to address technical concerns and provide solutions. • Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve M&E systems and solutions. • Review contractor proposals and evaluate the technical aspects of M&E bids to ensure they meet project specifications and requirements. • Assist in the preparation of technical reports and presentations for management, clients, and regulatory bodies. • Contribute to risk management and mitigation strategies by identifying potential technical risks related to M&E systems. • Ensure that all safety protocols are followed during M&E system installation, commissioning, and operation.
