We are seeking an experienced IT Technical Specialist – End User Computing to be a member of a team of technical specialists working on configuration, and management of our end-user technology platforms, focusing on Windows, macOS, and iOS environments. This technical hands-on role is pivotal in delivering secure, reliable, and optimised systems that empower our workforce. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Microsoft and Apple technologies, combined with a drive for automation, standardisation, and user-centric innovation.

- Manage devices using Microsoft Intune: Autopilot, compliance policies, endpoint security, and iOS/Windows kiosk builds.
- Administer Microsoft Entra ID: User management, multifactor authentication, conditional access, and health monitoring.
- Deploy and manage devices via MECM (software updates, app deployment) and Microsoft Defender for endpoint security.
- Oversee Apple macOS and iOS devices using Jamf and Intune integration.
- Administer Active Directory: Users/groups, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP configuration.
- Maintain Entra Connect for hybrid identity synchronization.
- Support Windows Server environments (2012-2022).
- Package and deploy applications for Windows and macOS devices.
- Ensure compatibility, performance, and security across platforms.
- Provide advanced technical support for IT infrastructure (End user devices, printers, plotters, video conferencing equipment) and applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless IT operations.
- Document processes, configurations, and procedures for IT systems.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in an IT infrastructure – End User Computing team supporting a global business.
- Proven experience with Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Entra, Microsoft MECM, Microsoft Defender, Apple macOS, Jamf, Microsoft Active Directory, application packaging, Windows Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server (2012, 2016, 2019, 2022).
- Proficiency in deploying and managing Microsoft Windows 10 and Windows 11 environments.
- Advanced troubleshooting and analytical capabilities.
- Proficiency in automation tools and scripting (e.g., PowerShell).
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or similar are a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
- The role may require working outside of normal business hours, and will actively participate on an on-call rota
