Internal Audit Manager

About the Client:

A publicly listed company on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad since 1990, we are a leading manufacturer in flexible plastic packaging and a prominent developer of affordable homes in Malaysia.

About the Role:

• To provide an independent opinion to Audit Committee on the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and corporate governance within the group of companies.
• To plan, lead, and supervise audit assignments and team members to ensure completion as per the audit plan.
• To review audit working papers and findings prepared by team members to ensure the accuracy of the audit findings.
• To identify opportunities for improvement in internal controls, report on weaknesses in internal controls on an exception basis, and propose recommendations to management for further improvement.
• Undertake other assignments assigned by the management from time to time.

Requirements:

• Minimum degree or professional qualification in any discipline.
• Minimum 5 years in heading an internal audit department.
• Proactive and able to work independently.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with good report writing, including presenting to the management and board members.
• MUST be willing to travel(When required) and possess their own transport.
• MUST be willing to work in Shah Alam
