MANAGER FINANCE

• Responsible for the overall financial function for Kuantan. • Manage the financials independently, including and not limited to P&L, balance sheet reconciliation, cash flow. • Responsible for the preparation and timely submission of monthly management reporting including monthly/quarterly consolidation worksheets and schedules for the Kuantan operating units, and ensuring robust and accurate presentation of financial and management information. • Responsible for the annual budget planning and quarter forecasting processes and active monitoring the actual performance against approved budgets/forecasts. • Working capital management and close liaison with the project teams in relation to billings and collections; as well as working with Group Treasury on funding planning and management. • Review of costing and progress of projects on a timely basis. • Lead internal control requirements and process improvement. • Ensure that company policies and practices are clearly defined, consistently followed by all relevant parties and continuously improved as and when needed • Responsible for risk management and able to identify potential control weaknesses on an ongoing basis. • Liaise with external parties such as auditors, tax agents, company secretary, bankers and other statutory bodies/authorities. • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements such as audit, tax, Companies Act, customs, and other governing authorities. • Undertake special assignment, ad hoc assignment & related duties as and when necessary. • Managing and developing the team – this includes providing leadership and coaching to the reporting team.
