Junior Accountant

Join our dynamic team at Sinegy, a regulated Digital Asset Exchange in Malaysia. We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support our finance team.

The Junior Accountant will play a vital role in our finance department, assisting with the preparation and processing of financial documents, performing data entry tasks, and ensuring accurate recording of transactions. This position requires a solid understanding of accounting principles and proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the preparation and processing of financial documents such as invoices, bills, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Perform data entry tasks for accounting records and ensure accurate and timely recording of transactions.
• Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Support the finance team in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Help with the preparation of tax filings and compliance documentation.
• Coordinate with other departments to gather and verify financial information.
• Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Accounting Assistant or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 to 3 years experience in the financial technology or finance industry.
• Familiarity with accounting software and digital financial tools.
• Understanding of local financial regulations and compliance requirements in Malaysia.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Contract

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
