Manager/Senior Manager - Business Process Optimization
(Project Management Operations)


Description

Overall Role Purpose
Oversee the operations of individual project within program. Plan, execute and close project efficiently, ensuring they align with organizational goals, stay within timeline, scope, budget, resources and meet quality standard to complete work within program guideline. Coordinate team efforts, manage risks and communicate progress to stakeholders, facilitating successful project delivery.


Specific Role context

  • Create business case, setup PILOT project to validate the business benefits and associated assumptions.
  • Design an efficient project framework and strategic roadmap approach for global/ regional implementation.
  • Track and monitor project progress, dependencies, budget, resources and provide timely update to stakeholders to steer the decision to accommodate dynamic business development.
  • Make data driven and fact-based recommendations to business to mitigate, overcome project risks or challenges.
  • Create innovative idea, solution to improve project efficiency and benefit realization.
  • Facilitate workshop based on project needs, such as As-Is process review, Design To-Be process, Data Gathering, Problem Solving.
  • Establish project acceptance criteria, success criteria and define KPIs to measure the targeted project benefits.
  • Leverage project management tool to control the execution the project and adopt best practice as per industry practice.
  • Manage global and regional stakeholders to align on expectations, involvement in the project and decision-making process.
  • Support stakeholder and organization to accept changes by defining a processes and strategy to ensure the project’s intended outcomes are embraced and successfully implemented.
  • Lead and collaborate with a physical, virtual team or hybrid team to manage the end-to-end project implementation effectively.


Specific Role Challenges


  • Contribute to the Management and Service Line support towards successful execution of the services provided in the center
  • Promote quality and transparency as a key levers to operational steering
  • Contribute to integrate BPO as the quality and continuous improvement partner for all Service Lines at Finance Operations


Qualifications:

Key Capabilities/Competencies

  • Solid project management experience
  • Process design and engineering
  • Good knowledge of quality management tools and approaches
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Stakeholder management
  • High confidence in the usage of analytical and statistical methods
  • High confidence in the usage of standard MS office software
  • Managing virtual teams
Expected years of experience
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Shared Services for Finance & Accounting at junior project management level or as part of the BPO organization
  • Having participated in LEAN House, transitions, system deployments an advantage

Educational Qualifications
  • University degree or equivalent
  • Comprehensive knowledge of project management methodologies (PRINCE 2 or PMP)
  • Fluent in English language (written and spoken)
