Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled IT Draftsman to join our team. The IT Draftsman will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings, and plans for IT infrastructure projects, including network layouts, server rooms, data centers, and other IT-related systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT systems, excellent drafting skills, and experience using CAD software to produce accurate and high-quality technical designs.
Key Responsibilities:
-Prepare detailed technical drawings and schematics for IT infrastructure systems, including network diagrams, server setups, wiring layouts, and other IT-related designs.
-Collaborate with engineers, technical manager, and project managers to gather project requirements and ensure all designs meet project specifications and standards.
-Utilize CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) to create and modify plans, layouts, and technical drawings.
-Review and revise existing plans and layouts for accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
-Ensure that all drawings adhere to industry standards and local regulations.
-Maintain organized records of all drafts, revisions, and updates to technical plans.
-Assist in the preparation of presentations or reports related to Technical Manager.
-Support project teams by providing accurate and timely drawings and revisions as needed.
-Stay up to date with advancements in IT infrastructure design and technology.
-Able to do Project Administrator works such as project documentation, records, and reports.
-Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor as needed.
- Able to do administration job like filing and others.
Qualifications:
-Proven experience as an IT Draftsman or in a similar drafting role, preferably in IT infrastructure, cabling or networking.
-Proficient in CAD software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design tools.
-Solid understanding of IT systems, networks, and related infrastructure.
-Ability to interpret and create complex technical drawings and schematics.
-Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
-Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
-Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively.
-Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in IT infrastructure design is a plus.
-Relevant diploma or degree in IT or Engineering is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
