HOTEL MANAGER - JOB DESCRIPTION
- Inspect the grounds, public areas and guest rooms for appearance and cleanliness
- Ensure company standards for housekeeping, decoration and guest services are met
- Answer guest question about hotel services and policies
- Keep track of the hotel's financials
- Interview, hire, train and terminate staff
- Monitor staff performance, enduring the hotel is running well and guests are happy.
- Coordinate front-office and back-office activities and resolve any problems
- Set budgets and room rates, allocate funds and approve expenditures for various departments.
Hotel Manager skills and qualifications:
- Have Halal Certificate is advantage
- Ability to lead housekeeping, front desk, maintenance & shuttle services operation
- Independent & problem solving skill
- Responsible for occupancy rate of hotel
- KPI oriented management
- System management Online Travel Agency (OTA)
A Hotel Manager should have at least five years of experience, though some hotels may prefer managers with at least seven or eight year. Experience should be in hospitality or business administration. Leadership experience is a must. Prior experience an a Supervisor or Department Manager, either in front-office or back-office operations, is preferred. Hotel Managers With experience in several areas of hotel operations is also a plus.
Salary Range: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000 00
