Job Description:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced individual to fill the dual role of Financial Literacy Trainer and Project Manager for children aged 7 to 12.
This position requires a passion for teaching, experience working with children, and strong project management skills. The successful candidate will conduct engaging financial literacy workshops while managing the logistics and execution of related projects.
Job Responsibilities:
- Workshop Delivery: Conduct interactive and engaging financial literacy workshops for children, covering essential concepts such as saving, spending, sharing, earning, and investing in an age-appropriate manner.
- Learning Environment: Foster a fun and supportive atmosphere that encourages participation and curiosity among students. Adapt teaching methods to cater to diverse learning needs.
- Assessment and Feedback: Evaluate student understanding through informal assessments and provide constructive feedback to enhance their learning experience.
- Project Management: Plan, execute, and finalize projects related to the financial literacy program according to established deadlines and budgets.
- Logistics Coordination: Manage all logistical aspects of project implementation, including scheduling training sessions and resource allocation.
- Procurement Oversight: Oversee procurement processes to ensure timely acquisition of materials and resources needed for workshops.
- Progress Monitoring: Track project progress, ensuring that milestones are met while addressing any issues that arise promptly.
- Collaboration: Work closely with team members and stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment on project goals.
- Parent Engagement: Utilize communication platforms to keep parents informed about their child’s learning progress through regular updates.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years experience working with children, preferably in an educational or training capacity.
- Basic understanding of financial concepts with the ability to communicate them effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a knack for engaging children in learning activities.
- Experience in project management is highly desirable.
- Fluent in both Bahasa Malaysia and English.
- Possess own transport and willing to travel for training sessions.
- Availability to conduct training sessions on weekends.
