Samadhi Retreats, an award-winning hospitality and F&B brand in Malaysia, is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team. With new properties on the horizon, this is an exciting time to become a part of our family.
What You'll Do:
- Acting Restaurant Manager in the absence of Restaurant Manager with day-to-day operations of restaurant
- In charge of opening/closing of restaurant and set up of restaurant to welcome dining patrons, taking their orders and ensuring food is delivered to the guest accordingly.
- Assist with roster scheduling to ensure adequate floor and kitchen coverage operations in relation to booking occupancy.
- Deliver, maintain and guide all team members with superior customer service and maximize customer satisfaction
- Ensuring that all guests are attended to with a smile, a courteous manner, while asking about their wellbeing and inquiring if they have any questions about the menu
- Assist restaurant manager in checking on food presentation, quality, and taste
- Ensure proper uniform and sanitation practice of all team members
- Resolving customers' questions and grievances in a professional and timely manner.
- Assist in inventory check of all items and ensure adequate stock is purchased
- In charge of bar upkeep and inventory management and ensure appropriate PAR stock
- Ensuring that the restaurant adheres to pertinent health and safety regulations.
- Recording all income and expenses and ensuring that cash registers are balanced.
- Check on cleanliness, neatness and organization of restaurant and kitchen and ensure all items are stored and kept in their proper location.
- Assist in controlling operational costs and identify measures to cut waste
- Train new and current employees on Samadhi etiquette and proper customer service practices
- Review and constantly refresh self and all team members on all Samadhi SOP and policies and ensure continuity.
- Ensure Restaurant Sales Dashboard is filled daily
- In charge of Guest Feedback Forms and ensure they are provided and filled by dining patrons and data input into google survey system for average scoring report

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
