Senior Executive - Account (Financial Reporting)

Job Responsibilities:

1) Financial Reporting:

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial reports for internal and external stakeholders, including senior management and regulatory bodies.
• Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements and related disclosures.

2) Compliance and Audit Support:

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, local tax laws, and regulatory requirements.
• Support the external audit process by providing necessary documentation and clarifications.
• Prepare schedules and reports for audits, ensuring all queries are addressed promptly.

3) Month-End and Year-End Close:

• Coordinate and manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.
• Review and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure consistency and accuracy.
• Assist in preparing reports for management review, highlighting key financial performance metrics.

4) Financial Analysis:

• Assist in the preparation of financial analysis reports, providing insights into key financial drivers and trends.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial projections and budgeting.
• Monitor financial performance, identifying discrepancies and proposing corrective actions.

5) Process Improvement:

• Contribute to the enhancement of financial reporting processes and systems for greater efficiency and accuracy.
• Identify and implement best practices to streamline financial reporting operations.

Job Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent are a plus.
• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, or audit, preferably in the financial services or credit industry.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with local accounting standards.
• Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide meaningful insights.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
