Key Responsibilities
- Financial Planning & Budgeting
- Develop and monitor annual budgets for business growth.
- Ensure efficient cash flow management for operational stability.
- Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual financial planning insights.
- Accounting & Compliance
- Oversee financial statements, profit and loss reports.
- Ensure compliance with taxation laws (LHDN, SST, GST where applicable).
- Handle statutory payments (KWSP, SOCSO, SIP, insurance contributions).
- Supplier & Payroll Management
- Track and process supplier invoices and payments.
- Calculate and manage payroll, overtime, commissions, and bonuses.
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and audits.
- Financial Reporting & Audit
- Conduct internal financial audits quarterly and liaise with external auditors.
- Identify cost-saving strategies while maintaining product quality.
- Evaluate financial risks, forecasts, and profitability analysis.
- Financial SOPs & Business Growth Support
- Implement financial controls to optimize profitability.
- Provide financial insights for new business ventures and expansions.
- Work closely with management for business growth strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in accounting, finance, or audit (retail/jewelry industry is a plus).
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, tax compliance, and payroll processing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (SQL, Xero, QuickBooks, or similar).
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and manage financial risks.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present financial insights to management.
