About the role
As the Deputy Nurse Manager (DNM) - Outpatient Department at Sunway Medical Centre Velocity, you will play a vital role in leading and managing the Outpatient Department nursing team. What you'll be doing
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Outpatient Department nursing team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care
- Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance patient outcomes
- Collaborate with the Nurse Manager to set departmental goals and monitor performance against key metrics
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to nursing staff, promoting continuous professional development
- Participate in the recruitment, selection, and performance management of nursing personnel
- Liaise with other departments to coordinate patient care and foster interdisciplinary collaboration
- Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with relevant healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and internal policies
What we're looking for
- Registered Nurse with a degree or diploma in Nursing
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a nursing leadership role, preferably in an outpatient or ambulatory care setting
- Strong clinical knowledge and expertise in nursing practice, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and effectively delegate tasks
- Proficient in problem-solving, decision-making, and critical thinking
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
- Strong organization and time management skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM8,500.00 per month
