Senior Financial Reporting Manager (GL) @ International Freight Forwarding Co.

Roles:

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with local accounting standards and company policies.
• Conduct financial analysis, including variance analysis, key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide insights for decision-making.
• Ensure accurate and timely submission of financial reports to management and external stakeholders.
• Lead the annual budgeting process, provide ongoing financial forecasting, and monitor financial performance against budgets.
• Ensure adherence to internal financial controls and relevant regulatory standards.
• Coordinate and support internal and external audits, ensuring a smooth and accurate audit process.
• Oversee tax compliance and corporate governance requirements.
• Manage and develop a team of financial analysts and accountants, guiding them in daily operations and fostering career growth.
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments (Operations, Sales, Logistics) to ensure financial alignment with business objectives.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation within the financial reporting function.
• Ensure the accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness of all financial reporting activities.

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting / Finance / Professional qualifications (ACCA, CPA, etc.).
• > 5 years of experience in Financial Reporting or FP&A in any industry with some Regional Countries exposure.
• Experience in Logistics / Freight Forwarding industry is a plus but not mandatory.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting standards, IFRS, MFRS and tax regulations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Permanent vacancy based in Shah Alam.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month
