Lifeguard / Pool Attendant

Key Responsibilities

Safety and Supervision

• Monitor pool activities to ensure the safety of all guests.
• Enforce pool rules and hotel policies to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, performing first aid and CPR as needed.

Guest Service

• Provide a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for all pool guests.
• Assist guests with inquiries regarding pool facilities and services.
• Ensure guests have access to towels, loungers, and other poolside amenities.

Maintenance and Cleanliness

• Inspect pool equipment and facilities daily to ensure they are safe and clean.
• Report any maintenance or safety concerns to management promptly.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the pool and surrounding areas.

Compliance

• Adhere to local health and safety regulations.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of pool chemicals (if applicable).
• Attend regular training and safety drills to stay updated on best practices.

Requirements

• Possess a minimum of Bronze Medallion certificate and first aider certificate.
• Previous experience as a lifeguard, preferably in a hospitality or luxury setting.
• Excellent observation and communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and act quickly in emergencies.
• Professional appearance and a guest-focused attitude.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From RM1,800.00 per month
