Key Responsibilities
Safety and Supervision
- Monitor pool activities to ensure the safety of all guests.
- Enforce pool rules and hotel policies to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, performing first aid and CPR as needed.
Guest Service
- Provide a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for all pool guests.
- Assist guests with inquiries regarding pool facilities and services.
- Ensure guests have access to towels, loungers, and other poolside amenities.
Maintenance and Cleanliness
- Inspect pool equipment and facilities daily to ensure they are safe and clean.
- Report any maintenance or safety concerns to management promptly.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the pool and surrounding areas.
Compliance
- Adhere to local health and safety regulations.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of pool chemicals (if applicable).
- Attend regular training and safety drills to stay updated on best practices.
Requirements
- Possess a minimum of Bronze Medallion certificate and first aider certificate.
- Previous experience as a lifeguard, preferably in a hospitality or luxury setting.
- Excellent observation and communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and act quickly in emergencies.
- Professional appearance and a guest-focused attitude.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
