IT Cloud Developer

Job Description :

• Design and deploy cloud services associated with common cloud offerings such as software as a service (Saas), platform as a service (Paas) and Infrastructure as a service (IaaS)

• Conduct engineering and design work related to virtualization solutions on different platforms including VMware and Microsoft and perform risk assessments.

Job Responsibilities :

• Write high quality, well-commented, modularized code

• Create automated tests and work with various teams to create CI/CD pipeline for code release

• Work with customers to understand customer requirements and turn ideas into solutions

• Work with diverse infrastructure teams to integrate various infrastructure/enterprise endpoints into a working solution

• Build automation using VMWare solutions such as vRealize Automation, vRealize Orchestrator and REST APIs

• Monitor, support and operate OnPrem IaaS infrastructure

• Coach/mentor junior members on coding best practices

Primary skill set:

• AWS/ Terraform/ Azure/ Containers/ Cloud/ Automation skillset.

Nice to Have skill sets :

• Familiar with API programming, Python, Ansible, Ruby, PowerCLI, C, C# and Java

• Knowledge and experience in VMWare – vSphere 6.5, vRealize Operation, vRealize Automation, vRealize Log Insight, vCloud Suite

• Framework

• Software developer background with interest to turn his coding experience into enabling infrastructure automation/codifying infrastructure

Soft skill sets :

• Self-starter and self-motivated

• Interpersonal and Negotiation skills - ability to effectively interact with staff, peers, and management

• Planning and Coordination skills - ability to effectively multi-task and progress many work items in parallel

• Strong technical writing and communication skills (document and communicate design concepts and conduct trainings)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM4,512.02 - RM13,427.25 per month
