Position Overview
We’re looking for a Finance Supervisor to take charge of our financial operations. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a knack for numbers, a passion for process optimization, and a commitment to excellence. You will manage the full set of accounts and play a critical role in ensuring the financial health of our organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions, ensuring proper categorization and reconciliation of accounts.
- Oversee accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), ensuring timely invoicing, collections, and payments.
- Manage the general ledger (GL) and ensure all entries are accurate and compliant with accounting standards.
- Prepare and finalize month-end and year-end financial reports, ensuring adherence to deadlines.
- Conduct thorough reviews of trial balances, adjusting entries as necessary.
- Reconcile bank statements, intercompany accounts, and other financial ledgers.
- Develop and deliver financial statements, profit and loss analyses, and variance reports.
- Provide insights into financial performance to guide business decisions.
- Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
- Ensure compliance with local statutory regulations, including tax filings, audit requirements, and other legal obligations.
- Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
- Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies as required.
- Identify inefficiencies in existing financial processes and propose improvements.
- Collaborate with the tech and operations teams to integrate automated solutions for accounting and reporting.
- Ensure proper documentation of processes to maintain clarity and support audits.
- Collaborate with other departments, including operations, HR, and sales, to align financial practices with business goals.
- Evaluate financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Drive cost control initiatives while ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2-3 years in finance or accounting, with a focus on full-set accounts management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certification (CPA, ACCA) is a plus.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP).
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial analysis tools.
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive, problem-solving approach with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
