Architect (PMC Role)

Description

-Creating technical drawings, blueprints, and 3D models that detail the layout, appearance, and materials to be used in the construction.

- Ensuring designs comply with local building codes, zoning laws, and environmental regulations.

- Incorporating energy-efficient and environmentally friendly features in designs, such as green building materials, solar panels, and water-efficient systems.

- Collaborating with structural engineers, electrical engineers, and other specialists to integrate their work into the design.

- Developing timelines for the project and ensuring that deadlines are met throughout the design and construction phases.

- Preparing cost estimates for the project and working with clients to manage budgets, helping to find cost-effective design solutions without compromising on quality.

- Overseeing the construction process to ensure that the project is built according to the plans and specifications.

- Regularly visiting the construction site to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure that building codes, safety standards, and design details are being followed.

- Ensuring the work done by contractors meets the expected quality standards, and making sure materials and craftsmanship are of high quality.

- Addressing unforeseen issues that may arise during construction, such as site challenges, changes in building code requirements, or material availability.
