The Business Development Manager is responsible for engaging with businesses in the Fashion & Apparel or e-Commerce markets. Their primary role is to design and implement comprehensive logistics solutions for FMX, including Domestic Courier, Air Freight, Warehousing & Fulfillment, and Trucking services. Additionally, they are tasked with strengthening FMX’s capabilities to better serve the Fashion and e-Commerce industries.

Key Activities / Accountabilities

  • Identify and target potential clients in the Fashion & Apparel and e-Commerce sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the industry.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of market trends and client needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to design tailored logistics solutions for clients.
  • Promote FMX’s capabilities in end-to-end logistics, including warehousing, transportation, and distribution services.
  • Achieve sales targets by closing new business deals.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profitability.
  • Monitor and analyse sales performance to identify growth opportunities.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes in the Fashion and e-Commerce sectors.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for clients and internal teams.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations and marketing, to ensure seamless execution of client solutions.
  • Prepare regular reports on business development activities and market insights.

Preferred Qualifications, Experience and Skills

  • Proven experience in business development within the Fashion or e-Commerce industries.
  • Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain solutions.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • A track record of meeting sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across diverse teams.
