JOB DESCRIPTIONS
- Bookkeeping: Record financial transaction (sales, expenses, invoices, and payments) accurately in accounting software.
- Account Management: Process vendor invoices, manage accounts payable and receivable, and follow-up on outstanding balances.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies in financial transactions.
- Handle petty cash, prepare and issue invoices, track accounts receivable, and follow up on overdue payments.
- Support the preparation of budgets, perform variance analysis, and track expenses effectively. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards.
- Ensure the timely submission of statutory filings, tax returns, and compliance reports to regulatory authorities.
- Assist with internal and external audits and stay updated on changes in financial regulations to maintain compliance.
- Organize and maintain financial documents, both physical and digital, ensuring they are easily accessible for audits or reporting purposes.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 2 years in handling Accounts or related financial tasks, with a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, LCCI, or a related field.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong focus on accuracy and maintaining clear financial records.
- Capable of resolving basic accounting issues and managing tasks within deadlines.
- Familiarity with local financial regulations, including tax and statutory filings.
- Experience in administrative tasks or working in the FinTech or Labuan FSA industry.
