Work you’ll do
- Assist clients, particularly Japanese multinational companies, in navigating complex transfer pricing regulations and optimizing tax efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal teams across service lines and cross-jurisdictional areas to ensure cohesive and high-quality service delivery.
- Actively engage in business development to expand the Japanese client base, identifying and pursuing new opportunities.
- Organize and conduct seminars and webinars to build market eminence and establish thought leadership.
- Drive business development activities, including client relationship management, proposal preparation, and participation in client meetings and presentations.
- Utilize strong social and communication skills to effectively engage with clients and other stakeholders, both internally and externally.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in transfer pricing laws and regulations and communicate these insights to clients.
Requirement
- Possess minimum a Bachelor’s Degree in related disciplines such as Accounting/ Economics/ Taxation from recognized universities or any professional qualification in similar disciplines.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in transfer pricing, including advisory, documentation, APA, and audits.
- Prior experience working with a Big 4 firm or a Japanese multinational company in Malaysia is strongly preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of Malaysia’s transfer pricing regulations and international standards.
- Native speaker in Japanese and fluency in English is essential.
- Competent in MS-Word, MS-Excel, and MS-PowerPoint.
- Excellent social and public relations (PR) skills, with the ability to engage and manage client relationships effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and grow business opportunities in transfer pricing.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and project management skills.
