We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or individuals with a diploma in Accounting to start their career in the finance industry. The ideal candidate should have basic knowledge of accounting principles, strong Excel skills, and a willingness to learn and grow within the finance department.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in Accounting or related field. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage and review financial records.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work with internal teams.
- Strong desire to learn, a proactive approach to tasks, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, adapting to a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining financial records, including processing invoices, receipts, and payments.
- Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and reconciliations.
- Enter financial transactions into the accounting software/system accurately and promptly.
- Ensure all records are up to date and comply with company policies and procedures.
- Prepare and track payments, invoices, and credit notes.
- Support the finance team in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Assist with budget tracking and cost analysis.
- Assist in organizing and maintaining financial records and documentation.
- Use Excel for preparing and updating financial reports, data analysis, and financial models.
