Finance Admin
We are looking for a Finance Administrator to join our finance team. The successful candidate will assist in managing and overseeing financial processes, including accounting, payroll, financial reporting, and tax compliance. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of financial operations, local tax laws, and administrative capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Record-Keeping & Administration:
- Maintain and update financial records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Record financial transactions into the accounting system.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.
- Maintain accurate filing systems for financial records and supporting documents.
Monthly, Quarterly, and Year-End Reporting:
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports, including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow statements.
- Support the finance team in preparing year-end financial statements and audits.
- Generate regular financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Payroll & Benefits Administration:
- Assist in payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate disbursements.
- Maintain employee records, including salary, tax deductions, and benefits.
- Assist with statutory deductions and ensure compliance with Malaysian labor laws.
Tax Compliance:
- Assist in the preparation and submission of GST (if applicable), income tax, and other relevant tax returns to the Inland Revenue Board (IRB) of Malaysia.
- Ensure that the company complies with all Malaysian tax regulations and deadlines.
- Prepare and maintain records for tax audits and provide support as needed.
Budgeting & Financial Analysis:
- Support the finance team in the preparation and monitoring of budgets.
- Assist in tracking departmental spending and financial forecasts.
- Provide data and assist with financial analysis as required.
Internal Controls & Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to company policies and accounting standards.
- Assist in implementing and maintaining effective internal controls for financial operations.
- Assist with periodic audits and internal reviews to ensure compliance.
Vendor and Client Communication:
- Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and clients regarding financial matters, including payments, invoices, and account inquiries.
- Address queries related to invoicing, payments, and billing discrepancies.
Ad-Hoc Financial Support:
- Provide administrative support to the finance department as required.
- Assist in any other finance-related duties assigned by the Finance Manager or senior team members.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
