Responsibilities:

  • Direct vehicles to available parking spaces, ensuring an even distribution of parked vehicles.
  • Manage traffic flow during peak hours and special events to minimise congestion.
  • Assist with smooth entry and exit of vehicles from the carpark, including the enforcement of one-way systems and speed limits.
  • Provide assistant to customers by answering queries about parking locations, payment systems, and other carpark-related matters.
  • Help drivers with special needs, including disabled drivers, by directing them to appropriate parking spaces.
  • Ensure that parking regulations, such no-parking zones and reserved spaces, are adhered to.
  • Issue warnings or penalties to vehicles violating parking rules.
  • Monitor carpark for any suspicious activity or vehicles, and report to security as necessary.
  • Ensure that the carpark area is clean and free from obstructions, such as trolleys, debris, or spilled liquids.
  • Report any damage to the carpark infrastructure, such as signage, payment machines, or lighting.
  • Provide guidance to emergency vehicles entering the carpark

Qualifications:

  • Possess a SPM certification.
  • Previous experience as a parking warden, traffic officer, or in similar working experience.
  • Good knowledge of traffic management and parking regulations.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure, especially during peak hours or in emergency.
  • Basic understanding of carpark technology, including ticketing systems and payment machines.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,700.00 per month
