Job Summary:

Spearaxis Sdn Bhd is looking for an experienced Project Manager (Engineering) to lead and oversee engineering projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in engineering, excellent project management skills, and the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:

Ø Plan, execute, monitor, and close projects while ensuring they meet scope, timeline, and quality objectives.

Ø Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.

Ø Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success.

Budget Management:

Ø Oversee project budgets, ensuring financial control and accountability.

Ø Analyze project financial, monitor expenditures, and ensure adherence to approved budgets.

Ø Prepare regular financial reports for management and stakeholders.

Stakeholder Management:

Ø Serve as the primary liaison between clients, contractors, regulatory authorities, and internal teams.

Ø Facilitate clear communication, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned on project goals and progress.

Ø Manage stakeholder expectations and resolve any conflicts promptly.

Regulatory and Compliance Expertise:

Ø Maintain an in-depth understanding of local regulatory requirements and ensure all projects comply with applicable laws and standards.

Ø Coordinate with relevant authorities for approvals, permits, and inspections.

Multitasking and Leadership:

Ø Oversee multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

Ø Lead, motivate, and manage cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.

Ø Provide mentor-ship and guidance to team members to foster professional growth.

Ø Perform additional tasks as assigned

Job Requirements:

Education & Experience :

Ø Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, M&E Engineering, Quantity Surveying (Cost Management), Project/Construction Management, or Landscape Architecture, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.

Ø Minimum of 8-12 years of experience in project management, with a strong portfolio of successfully delivered projects.

Technical Expertise

Ø Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent). Ability to read and understand architectural and engineering drawing.

Ø Familiarity with AutoCAD,BIM and other engineering software is a plus.

Ø Strong understanding of feasibility studies, tender process, contract administration and cash flow planning.

Leadership & Soft Skills

Ø Proven ability to lead and manage large, diverse teams.

Ø Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills

Other Requirements

Ø Excellent knowledge of local regulations, relevant authorities,business environments and compliance requirements in Malaysia government.

Ø Own transport and flexibility to travel as needed.
