Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and enforce compliance with workplace safety regulations (OSHA, DOSH, etc.).
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and safety briefings.
- Identify potential hazards and implement corrective measures.
- Develop and implement safety plans, policies, and procedures.
- Provide safety training and toolbox talks to site workers.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and prepare reports with recommendations.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure all safety documentation is up to date.
- Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by all personnel.
- Maintain and update site safety records and documentation.
- Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to promote a culture of safety.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health or a related field.
- Valid Yellow Book certification registered with DOSH (Department of Occupational Safety and Health).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a construction environment.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and risk management.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle emergency situations effectively.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
