Manager Safety Promotion, Training and Communication

Role Purpose

Executive Safety Promotion, Training and Communication (SPTC) are to coordinate the safety awareness programs, identify risk assessments, organize/maintain the safety training records, produce digital publications, managing contract/agreement, consolidating and updating the safety business plans while supporting safety initiatives.
Additionally, the role includes updating regulatory departmental manuals, safety frameworks, improving processes, and maintaining the CSO web portal and administrative repository. Also, to supports departmental projects, and initiatives, ensuring alignment with operational targets.

Key Accountability

  • Safety Training Coordination:
  • Organize and monitor the Safety Management System (SMS) training to ensure compliance with Air Operator Certificate (AOC) standards and IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) requirements.
  • Safety Promotion and Event Management:
  • Planning, organizing, and executing safety promotion programs and engagement activities align with regulatory requirement.
  • Multimedia Skill:
  • Designing and managing multimedia content, including producing promotional videos, posters, write-ups, and digital presentations.
  • Procurement and Financial Administration:
  • Handling procurement functions, including creating purchase requisitions (PRs), tracking purchase orders (POs), and processing Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs) using ERP-SAP systems.
  • Monitoring monthly budget variances to ensure alignment with approved budgets.
  • Reporting and Documentation:
  • Preparing and updating SMS meeting slides, weekly reports, and Management of Change documents.
  • Assisting in the preparation of safety management reports, such as the Safety Review Board (SRB).
  • Budget and Business Planning:
  • Supporting the preparation and submission of annual budgets and business plans within specified timelines.
  • Other responsibilities are include executing tasks assigned by the management.

Qualifications & Working Experience

  • Degree in Multimedia communication/ Information Technology/ Business Administration, or any other related field.
  • Train The Trainer Certification
  • Minimum of Two (02) years related working experience.

Areas Of Experience

  • Conduct training, Risk Assessment, Poster/Video Making & Editing, Organizing Event.

Key Challenges

  • Ensuring 100% compliance for all mandatory safety training requirements.
  • Obtaining people interest to participate in safety engagement programs.
  • Ensuring safety trainings and engagement programs expenditure are within the approved budget allocated and adhere to planned timelines.
  • Organizing safety promotion activities without causing disruptions to operations.
  • Always stay alert to any ad-hoc changes or incidents occurred and take appropriate actions for the process improvement.

  • Technical Skill : Microsoft Applications, Canva Pro, Power BI, Adobe Illustrator, Accounting, Video Making & Editing and Proofreader.
