Finance Manager (Healthcare)

Role Overview:

As a Finance Manager, you will be at the forefront of our financial operations, leading a talented team and influencing key strategic decisions. Your role will involve overseeing all aspects of financial management, ensuring accuracy, and driving improvements that add significant value to our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Financial Reporting & Analysis:

• Prepare and present comprehensive financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Analyze financial data to provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.

2) Budgeting & Forecasting:

• Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes to align financial plans with organizational goals.
• Monitor budget performance, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions.

3) Operational Excellence:

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including AP, AR, payroll, and reconciliations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
• Implement and enhance accounting systems and processes to drive continuous improvement.

4) Cash Flow & Compliance:

• Manage cash flow to maintain optimal liquidity and support business needs.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including tax filings and financial audits.

5) Team Leadership:

• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide professional growth opportunities for team members.

6) Strategic Initiatives:

• Drive special projects aimed at improving financial processes and systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or equivalent certification preferred).
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a finance management role, with a strong track record of driving financial performance and improvement.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Prior external audit experience will be highly regarded
