Our client is looking for a Contract &Procurement Manager from the property background who will be responsible for overseeing all contractual and procurement activities related to the company's property and real estate projects. This role involves developing and implementing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will play a critical role in optimizing costs, ensuring quality, and mitigating risks in procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities:

•Lead and manage the contract and procurement team at property division and provide guidance, training, and support.

•Develop and implement comprehensive contract and procurement strategies that align with the company's property development goals.

•Monitor market trends and competitor activities to provide insights for sales strategies.

•Oversee the procurement process from requisition to delivery, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.

•Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships to ensure the best terms and conditions.

•Draft, review, and negotiate contracts related to property projects, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

•Monitor contract performance and ensure adherence to agreed terms and conditions.

•Identify and mitigate risks associated with contract and procurement management.

•Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and Malaysian laws and regulations.

•Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure procurement processes are followed and documentation is maintained.

•Implement cost-saving initiatives and strategies to achieve financial efficiencies in procurement activities.

•Conduct supplier performance evaluations and address any issues or concerns.

•Other duties as and when required by the management.

Qualifications and Experience:

•Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Law, or any related field.

•Professional certifications in procurement or contract management are an added advantage.

•Minimum of 10 years of experience in contract and procurement management, preferably within the property or real estate industry.

•Proven track record of successfully managing procurement activities and negotiating contracts.

•Strong knowledge of Malaysian procurement laws and regulations.

•Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
