Inside our hotel are 290 rooms with all mod-con – and the rest of the hotel boasts fabulous facilities too. Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily audits of revenue and credit transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with hotel policies and procedures.
  • Verify and reconcile guest folios, invoices, and billing statements.
  • Monitor credit limits and outstanding balances, and communicate with guests and internal departments to resolve any billing discrepancies.
  • Assist with month-end closing procedures and prepare financial reports related to income and credit activities.
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate recording and reporting of financial transactions.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of hotel systems and software related to income auditing and credit management.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in income auditing, credit control, or a related financial role within the hospitality industry.
  • Proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Office
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of relevant accounting principles and procedures is an asset.
  • Knowledge of hospitality industry
