Role Purpose: Finance Executive (Credit Control) – for LXMY and JVs

Main Roles and Responsibilities:

Monitor Customer Accounts: Keep track of customer accounts, ensuring timely payment of outstanding invoices and managing overdue balances.Credit Limit Management: Set and review credit limits for new and existing customers based on company policies and analysis of customer’s financial reports and credit data.Debt Collection: Initiate follow-up processes with customers via formal communication to ensure timely debt recovery.Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts to ensure all payments and offsetting transactions are correctly applied to customer accounts and handle any discrepancies.Dispute Resolution: Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, operations etc.) and customers to resolve any billing or payment-related disputes.Journal Entries: Preparation of month end journals related to customer margins, rebates and related adjustments. Reporting: Generate regular reports on credit status, overdue accounts, collection progress, and any at-risk customers.Compliance: Ensure processes are in line with the company’s credit policies and relevant financial regulations.Customer Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with customers to ensure mutual trust and encourage prompt payment.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in credit control or a related role.
  • Skills:
  • Strong financial analysis and credit risk assessment skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and SAP.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle challenging conversations and resolve disputes professionally.
